The Group set up in Cote d'Ivoire
1989
Took over Colina SA, a subsidiary of CIGNA, an insurance company in Cote d'Ivoire.
BATIM Cote d'Ivoire (BATIMCI) was created.
1994
BATIM was taken over by COLINA SA
1996
Housing development programme was launched as a result of the creation of SATCI.
Expansion of Colina in other CIMA countries thanks to taking over AGF business in Mali and Togo.
2000
Malian branch became a subsidiary and Colina Mali was set up. Then came Colina Burkina Faso.
2001
Taking over Groupama subsidiaries in Cote d'Ivoire and Benin ; which then became Colina Africa Vie.
2002
BATIM Mali was set up.
Sogem, a third-party payer company, was set up in partnership with Globemed, a health insurance service provider.
2003
MCI-Sogem, health insurance management company, was set up.
B&S Construcoes was created. BATIM Africa Holding housing programme was adjusted.
2004
Colina Group was adjusted according to two companies : Delta Africa Holding and Colina Participations.
2005
Colina Europe came into being.
Acquisition of a stake in "La Citoyenne", an insurance company in Cameroon.
Civadis was sold and ICMS was taken over.
Colina Madagascar came into being.
2006
Colina Gabon was set up.
Acquisition of All Life Insurance in Cameroon.
Turning the Togo-based branch into a subsidiary – Colina Togo was then created.
2007
Colina RE, a within-group reinsurance company, was set up in Togo.
2008
Creation of Colina Senegal.
Creation of BATIM Cameroun.
Creation of MCI Cameroun.
Colina Senegal came into being.
BATIM Cameroun was set up.
MCI Cameroun was created.
2009
Cession of ICMS.
2010
Creation of COLINA GHANA and COLINA LIFE GHANA.
